The unit’s base, the cooking pan/pot, and the glass lid are all dishwasher safe. The removable temperature control probe is not dishwasher safe and should never come into contact with any type of water or liquid to avoid electrical shock. Always check your product manual for detailed cleaning instructions and to determine specifically which parts are dishwasher safe.

The glass lid is dishwasher safe. The power base/cooking pan is not dishwasher safe and should never be submersed in any type of liquid to avoid electrical shock and product damage. Yes, and cooking with aluminum foil makes cleanup a breeze! Be sure to turn the contents in the foil over occasionally to prevent burning and ensure even cooking throughout.

We recommend preheating your grill for at least 2-3 minutes or until the unit shows that the input temperature has been reached.

As an additional safety measure, the heating plate will only function when properly docked to the base. The temperature probe must align with the slotted cradle as shown in the illustration [COMING SOON].

Your product’s model number is a 6-7 character code in the format of XXX-XXXX and can be found on the manufacturer’s sticker on the back side or bottom of your appliance. Electric skillet and indoor grill model numbers will begin with “ASP” “AHG” or “AFP” followed by a hyphen and 3-4 numbers and/or letters.

Do not reheat food using the Warm heat setting. Warm should only be used after the food has been thoroughly cooked. Food must be heated to an appropriate temperature before reheating in order to prevent bacterial growth while using Warm.

For your convenience, our grill pans and cooking surfaces never need to be seasoned before you begin to cook. Simply place your desired food onto the grill and your meal will be ready before you know it!

The feet found on the bottom of the unit allow for optimal airflow underneath as the appliance heats. Be sure to keep at least a 6-inch space away from walls and flammable materials to ensure proper airflow and to avoid heat damage.
