Easy Shrimp and Sweet Corn Rice Bowl

- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1/4 cup shallots
- 1/2 cup sweet corn kernels
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp butter
- salt & pepper
Directions
- Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain well.
- Add the rinsed rice, shrimp, shallots, sweet corn kernels, chicken broth, paprika, cayenne pepper (optional), and salt and pepper to the inner pot of your Aroma rice cooker.
- Close the lid and press Cook.
- Once the cooking cycle is complete, let the rice sit in Keep Warm mode for 5 minutes.
- Open the lid, gently fluff the rice, and mix the shrimp into the rice.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
