Roasted Creamy Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 10 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat the Aroma Roaster Oven to 350°F.
  2. In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside on paper towels. Keep 1 tablespoon of bacon grease.
  3. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and the reserved bacon grease in a large bowl until well-coated.
  4. Spread the Brussels sprouts evenly in the roaster oven. Roast for 30 minutes until they start to soften.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and nutmeg. Pour the creamy mixture over the Brussels sprouts.
  6. Stir the Brussels sprouts to coat evenly with the cream mixture, then sprinkle the crispy bacon pieces on top. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over everything.
  7. Cover the roaster oven with its lid and continue roasting for another 20 minutes, until the Brussels sprouts are tender, and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your creamy, cheesy Brussels sprouts with crispy bacon!
