The Lazy Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Ingredients

  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin spice mix
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

Directions

  1. Add brown sugar, pumpkin spice mix, water, and pumpkin puree into the rice cooker.
  2. Stir to combine and press the switch. Let the mixture come to a simmer in the rice cooker, stirring occasionally for 25-30 minutes.
  3. Once the mixture has thickened slightly, switch the rice cooker to “Warm” and let it cool.
  4. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve, then store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to two weeks.
  5. Enjoy in coffee, tea, or desserts!
