Ingredients

  • 1 (20-ounce) package refrigerated hash brown potatoes
  • 8 oz black forest ham, diced
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tbsp green onion, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine hash brown potatoes, diced ham, shredded cheddar cheese, beaten eggs, green onion, salt, and black pepper. Stir until evenly combined.
  2. Lightly grease the waffle maker with cooking spray or butter and preheat until Cook light is on.
  3. Scoop portions of the mixture into the waffle maker, spreading it evenly. Close the lid and cook for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove the waffle hash and repeat the process with the remaining mixture.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy with your favorite toppings like sour cream, ketchup, or hot sauce.
