- 1 lb stew beef
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 carrot, roughly cubed
- 2 potato, quartered
- 2 cup mushroom, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 can beer
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 bay leave
- 1 stick cinnamon
Directions
- Pat dry the stew beef, evenly coat it with flour, set aside for 5 minutes.
- Preheat your rice cooker using the Sauté-then-Simmer (STS).
- heat oil and butter, brown meat in two batched, setting aside on a plate when brown.
- Add diced onions and mushroom to the pot. Stir and cook for 15 minutes until softened, add all other ingredients in. Mix well. Reset the rice cooker to Slow Cook HIGH for 3 hours. Stir occasionally.
- Once the slow cooking process is complete, remove the cinnamon stick before serving.
