Butterfly Pea Lemonade

  • 5 cups water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup dry butterfly pea flower
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice


  1. Add water and sugar to the kettle, then bring to a boil.
  2. Once the cycle is complete, open the lid and add the dry butterfly pea flowers. Let them steep for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the flowers from the liquid.
  4. In a cup, add 1 tsp of lemon juice. Pour the brewed butterfly pea flower tea over ice and lemon juice.
  5. Add more dried butterfly pea tea if desired and serve!
