Chicken Barley Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cups onion, chopped

  • 1 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cups carrots, chopped

  • 1 cups potato, chopped

  • 1 cups zucchini, chopped

  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes

  • 1/3 cup pearl barley

  • half roasted skinless chicken, chopped

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 1/2 tsp thyme

  • 5 cups water


Directions

  1. Add oil, chopped onion and minced garlic into the inner pot then press the Soup function. Close the lid securely and let it cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Open the lid and stir in all other ingredients then close the lid again and allow the Soup cooking cycle to continue.

  3. When the cycle is completed, stir to combine then serve.
