Honey Balsamic Glaze Pork Belly
- 4 lb pork belly
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- ½ cup chicken stock
- ½ cup honey
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Using a sharp knife, score the fat side of the pork belly diagonally in a diamond pattern. Season the pork belly with salt and pepper, rubbing the seasoning thoroughly into the meat. Place the seasoned pork belly into a roaster oven.
- In a small bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients: balsamic vinegar, chicken stock, honey, minced garlic, olive oil, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
- Drizzle the mixture over the pork belly in the roaster oven, ensuring an even coating. Close the lid of the roaster oven.
- Set the roaster oven to 350°F and cook the pork belly for about 3 hours, allowing it to cook thoroughly and become tender.
- Once the pork belly is cooked, carefully remove it from the roaster oven. Slice the pork belly to your desired thickness.
- Serve the deliciously cooked pork belly immediately, and enjoy its flavorful taste!
