Mojito Iced Tea

Aroma® Professional Electric Water Kettle


  • 4 cups water

  • 2 green tea bags

  • 4 sprigs fresh basil leaves, chopped

  • 1/4 cup lime juice

  • 1 cup white rum or hard alcohol of your choice, if desired


  1. Add water to the kettle and bring to a boil.

  2. Once boiled, steep the green tea bags for about 10 minutes then remove. Squeeze the tea bags into the water before discarding.

  3. Allow the tea to cool for 20 minutes.

  4. Add the chopped basil, rum (if using), lime juice into a serving pitcher then pour the brewed tea in and stir thoroughly.

  5. Serve over ice or chill in the refrigerator.
