Rice Cooker Oatmeal

for the oatmeal:

  • 1 cup
  • 2 ½ cups water or apple juice

optional toppings:

  • sliced strawberries
  • blueberries
  • sliced apples
  • walnuts or pecans
  • coconut flakes
  • honey, agave, or brown sugar
  • peanut butter


  1. Add rinsed oats and water or juice to the inner pot of your rice cooker.
  2. Press the White Rice button and allow to cook. When the cooking cycle is finished, the rice cooker will beep and automatically switch to Keep Warm mode.
  3. Transfer to a bowl, arrange with toppings of your choice, and enjoy!
