Rosé Poached Pears

  • 1 bottle (750ml) Rosé wine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 pears, peeled, halved and cored
  • 2 cups water


  1. Add Rosé, sugar, cinnamon stick, and water to the inner pot. Use the Sauté-then-Simmer (STS) mode to bring the mixture to a boil. Continue cooking for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  2. Add in the pears, then set the rice cooker to slow cook on HIGH for 2 hours. Flip the pears occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  3. Once the slow cooking process is complete, remove the cinnamon stick before serving.

*The dish can be served warm or, for a refreshing treat, covered, refrigerated, and served chilled.
