Rosé Poached Pears

  • 1 bottle (750ml) Rosé wine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 pears, peeled, halved and cored
  • 2 cups water


  1. Add Rosé, sugar, cinnamon stick, and water to the inner pot. Use the Sauté-then-Simmer (STS) mode to bring the mixture to a boil. Continue cooking for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  2. Add in the pears, then set the rice cooker to slow cook on HIGH for 2 hours. Flip the pears occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  3. Once the slow cooking process is complete, remove the pears and the cinnamon stick.
  4. The dish can be served warm or, for a refreshing treat, covered, refrigerated, and served chilled.
