SESAME BEEF & CABBAGE STIR FRY

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ yellow onion, chopped
  • ½ lb lean ground beef
  • ½ head cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat your rice cooker using the Sauté-then-Simmer (STS) mode.
  2. Heat olive oil until shimmering, then sauté onion and garlic for 1 minute.
  3. Add beef, stirring until browned.
  4. Add cabbage, stirring until soft and wilted.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Top with green onion and serve hot.
