Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound fresh or frozen zucchini noodles
  • ½ sweet yellow onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Set your Aroma multicooker to the Sauté-then-Simmer® STS mode and allow it to heat with the lid on for approximately 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and olive oil until well combined.
  3. Open the lid of the multicooker and add the zucchini noodles. Cook while stirring frequently using a long-handled wooden or heat-safe spoon. Cook the zucchini noodles for about 2 minutes, until they are just cooked and still slightly crunchy. (Note: If using frozen zucchini noodles, cook for about 5 minutes until they are separated and cooked. If excess water is present in the pot, carefully drain it before continuing.)
  4. Add the finely chopped onion to the noodles and cook briefly until the onions begin to soften and turn translucent, which should take about 2 minutes.
  5. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, then pour in the prepared sauce. Stir everything together using a long-handled wooden or heat-safe spoon, ensuring all flavors are well incorporated. Continue cooking for an additional 2-5 minutes.
  6. Turn off the multicooker. Carefully scoop the cooked zucchini noodles and onion mixture into serving bowls.
  7. Garnish the dish with chopped fresh cilantro and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve your delicious and flavorful zucchini noodle dish immediately, and enjoy the delightful combination of tastes and textures!
