Banana Bread Made Easy

  • 3 ripe bananas (soft brown)
  • 1/3 cup softened butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda


  1. In a bowl, mash the soft brown bananas along with the softened butter and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, sift together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Gradually combine the dry mixture with the wet mixture.
  3. Grease the inner pot of your rice cooker with butter, then pour in the batter. If your rice cooker has a Cake function, select it. If not, use the White Rice function instead. After the White Rice cycle is complete, allow it to Keep Warm for 30 minutes and then start another cycle.
  4. Once done, serve the banana bread hot and enjoy!
