EASY APPLE CINNAMON COBBLER
- ½ stick of butter (divided equally)
- 3 cups of peeled and sliced apples
- ¼ cup of sugar
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- ½ box of cake mix
- Ice cream or whipped cream (for topping)
- Preheat your rice cooker using the Sauté-then-Simmer (STS) mode.
- Melt half of the butter in the rice cooker pot.
- Stir in the sliced apples, sugar, and cinnamon, and cook until the apples are browned and softened.
- Turn off the rice cooker and evenly spread the cake mix over the cooked apples.
- Cube the remaining half of the butter and distribute it over the cake mix layer.
- Close the rice cooker lid and set it to the SLOW COOK setting for 2 hours.
- Once the cooking cycle is complete, carefully open the lid and serve the apple cobbler while it’s still hot.
- Serve the warm apple cobbler with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream on top for a delightful treat.
