Marshmallow Nougat

  • 12 oz mini marshmallows

  • 14 oz crackers, crushed

  • 4 oz butter

  • 4 oz powdered milk

  • 1 1/2 cups honey roasted peanuts, chopped

  • 1 1/2 cups dried cranberries


  1. Place the butter in the inner pot and melt using the Sauté-then-Simmer® function.

  2. Once the butter is melted, mix in the marshmallows and allow them to also melt..

  3. Manually set the cooker to Keep Warm mode then mix in the powdered milk, honey roasted peanuts, and dried cranberries. Once thoroughly mixed, turn off the cooker.

  4. Fold in the crushed crackers then remove the nougat from the inner pot and place on a piece of parchment paper.

  5. Take another piece of parchment paper and place it on top of the nougat then using a rolling pin, flatten out the nougat to be about 2″-3″ thick.

  6. Let the nougat cool for about 1 hour on the parchment paper then cut into small bite-sized squares. Dust the squares with more powdered milk if desired and serve.
