Rice Cooker Apple Cobbler

  • 3 cup apple, peeled and sliced
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ box cake mix
  • ½ stick butter, divided


  1. Preheat your rice cooker using Sauté-then-Simmer STS® and add apple, sugar, cinnamon and ¼ stick butter. Stir.
  2. Once all apples are browned to soft. Turn off the rice cooker.
  3. Sprinkle cake mix on top of apples. Cube the remaining butter, and sprinkle on top of the cake mix.
  4. Cover and cook on SLOW COOK for 2 hours.
  5. Serve hot with ice cream or whipping cream.
