Summer is here! Celebrate rising temperatures with a light, summery beverage you can feel good about. This healthy summer drink guide is filled with ideas and tips to help you drink more water and stay hydrated with natural flavors.

Watertok ‘Water Recipes’ with a Twist

Agua fresca, infused water, lemonade, and iced tea are seasonal favorites, but there’s a new food trend on the rise… WaterTok.

What is WaterTok? Not everyone can (or wants to!) drink plain water, but hydration is even more important during hot summer months. WaterTok influencers create and share ‘water recipes’ with flavored syrups, powders, and mixes that make water more palatable. Ever heard of water nausea? It’s real!

Let’s skip the artificial sweeteners and over-the-top WaterTok flavors in lieu of something natural… These summer ‘water recipes’ are fun, simple, and refreshing:

Grilled Pineapple Agua Fresca

Heat 2 cups of water to 200°F in an Electric Aroma Kettle.

Juice 8 limes into a pitcher, then place the used limes into a bowl and cover with the near-boiling water, letting your citrus rinds steep for 10 minutes.

Core and cut a pineapple into fourths, then sprinkle with brown sugar.

Heat your Aroma Grillet® or Whatever Pot® grill pan on high and add pineapple, turning every 2 minutes until all sides have caramelized grill marks.

Puree the pineapple in a blender with a splash of water, then strain through cheese cloth into the pitcher of lime juice.

Strain the bowl of soaking limes to remove the rinds and add this water to the pitcher, too.

Stir in 6 tablespoons of agave nectar, to taste, and chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
